How Climeworks Removes Carbon
Climeworks uses a innovative process to capture CO₂ directly from the air using renewable geothermal energy and waste heat.
The captured CO₂ is then concentrated and permanently sequestered underground in basaltic rock formations through Climeworks' partnership with Carbfix.
This process ensures the CO₂ is safely and securely stored for the long-term.
Our Carbon Removal Commitment
Through our participation in the Stripe Climate program, Climeworks will remove 322 tons of CO₂ on behalf of MagicSpace SEO and other Stripe Climate businesses.
